We hope the foregoing pages have illustrated to some extent the areas where vacancies exist for volunteers. Whilst there will be many unanswered questions we hope that we have whetted your appetite

You will note that we have referred, in some instances, to a dresscode. Severn Valley endeavors to maintain a standard of dress in keeping with its endeavors to emulate the railway of the 1950's. Where, for example, a TTI, guard or signalman requires a suit, facilities exist for the supply of two or three piece made to measure suits for which the railway pays one half.
