

Engine House maintenance
We are seeking volunteers with a practical skillset to join our maintenance team at The Engine House. You will play a vital role in the maintenance and development of our historic railway, helping to keep our facilities in top condition and ensuring a smooth visitor experience.

Assist with construction, maintenance, and repairs around the site

Use manual skills such as carpentry, painting etc.

Work on outdoor projects such as picnic area maintenance

Assist with displays and exhibit construction

Training
​
On-the-job training will be provided as appropriate. You will also need to complete our Working at Height online training course.
