We collect information on you when you request to be come a volunteer by filling in the application form. You will also be asked for your name, e-mail address or phone number if you have a general query about volunteering to enable the VLO to answer your question.

• To register you as a volunteer

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter, submit or access it. ​

All supplied sensitive information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, and stored in a database which can only be accessed by those authorised with special access rights.

The SVR Volunteer website does not use cookies to store any information of a personal nature or your website usage.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

Your details will only be made available to other organisations operating under the Severn Valley Railway name (the 'SVR Family') to include: Severn Valley Railway Charitable Trust Ltd., Severn Valley Railway (Holdings) plc., Severn Valley Railway Co. Ltd. and other SVR organisations which may be introduced from time to time.

Your personally identifiable information will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company outside the 'SVR Family'  for any reason whatsoever, without your consent.
