Join our team of volunteers and help us provide an exceptional shopping experience for our visitors! As a Retail Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for many of our visitors, providing friendly and helpful service in our shop. You will be responsible for:

• Greeting customers and assisting with purchases

• Restocking shelves and displays with new stock

• Handling cash and card transactions

• Maintaining a clean and tidy shop environment

Skills/attributes required

As a Retail Assistant, you will need to be:

​

• Able to work independently, using your initiative to ensure the shop is running smoothly

• Confident in dealing with customers and providing excellent customer service

• Familiar with our products and able to answer questions about them

• Willing to learn about our systems and processes

If you enjoy working with people, have excellent communication skills, and are comfortable with handling cash and sales transactions, we would love to hear from you!

Training

​

On-the-job training will be provided as appropriate. You will also need to complete our Working at Height online training course.
